For those curious... here is a bit of a snapshot into what our "home" looks like here in Bangkok.

The outside of the Sasa house
We are staying at a place called the "Sasa house". It is pretty much like a small hotel, except it is associated with the school, and it is mostly only used for exchange students and visiting professors. (Many of our professors are here on exchange as well - from the US, Europe, and Australia.) Here are a few pics.

There is also a restaurant on the ground floor that is quite good, and pretty reasonable. I think it will be a good option for nights when we just feel like something low-key and simple, since we don't have any kitchens or anything in our room to cook with.

"Sasabol" (pool and tiny gym)
Right next to the Sasa house is a small gym, and a pool. I haven't taken a swim in it yet, but it certainly makes me happy to know that it is there. I have a feeling we will spend at least a few afternoons there.

And then, right next to the pool, is our school! It's not a huge building (it looks big, but much of that is the parking deck) but it is pretty nice inside and very easy to get around.

Out front of school
That's pretty much the full tour!
